My English teacher handed this hilario sheet of info yesterday. Here’s a copy for you to read!:

THE LEANGUAGE PROBLEM !!!!!!!

THE EUROPEAN COMMISION HAS JUST ANNOUNCED AN AGREEMENT, WHEREBY ENGLISH WILL BE THE OFFICIAL LANGUAGE OF THE EUROPEAN UNION, RATHER THAN GERMAN, WHICH WAS THE OTHER POSSIVILITY.
AS PART OF THE NEGOTIATIONS, THE BRITISH GOVERNMENT CONCEDED THAT ENGLISH SPELLING HAD SOME ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT, AND HAS ACCEPTED A 5-YEAR PHASE-IN PLAN THAT WOULD BE KNOWN AS “EURO-ENGLISH.”
IN THE FIRST YEAR, “S” WILL REPLACE THE SOFT “C”. SERTAINLY THIS WILL MAKE THE SIVIL SERVANTS JUMP FOR JOY. THE HARD “C” WILL BE DROPED IN FAVOUR OF “K”. THIS SHOULD KLEAR UP KONFUSION, AND KEYBOARDS KAN HAVE ONE LESS LETTER. THERE WILL BE GROWING PUBLIK ENTHUSIASM IN THE SEKOND YEAR WHEN THE TROUBLESOME “PH” WILL BE REPLACED WITH “F”. THIS WILL MAKE WORDS LIKE FOTOGRAF 20% SHORTER.
IN THE THIRD YEAR, PUBLIK AKSEPTANSE OF THE NEW SPELLING KAN BE EXPEKTED TO REACH THE STAGE WHERE MORE KOMPLIKATED CHANGES ARE POSSIBLE.
GOVERNMENTS WILL ENKOURAGE THE REMOVAL OF DOUBLE LETTERS, WHICH HAVE ALWAYS BEN A DETERRENT TO AKURATE SPELLING.
ALSO, AL WIL AGRE THAT THE HORIBL MES OF THE SILENT “E” IN THE LANGUAGE IS DISGRESFUL, AND IT SHOULD GO AWAY.
BY THE FOURTH YEAR, PEOPL WIL BE RESERTIV TO STEPS SUCH AS REPLASING “TH” WITH “Z” AND “W” WITH “V”.

Peppercorn is Back From Her Four-Week Hiatus

Epic Stuffs About Me:
I bleached my hair – again. I’m gunna be forever blonde. But I’m not workin’ up to the “blonde reputation”.
I divorced my husband.
Nah, just jokin’. The latter didn’t actually happen. I’m only 15.
I shattered my knee during bungee jumpin’ in Tassie. It’s epic. I lost my footing & a heavy rock fell on it. Ouch.
I started reading other blogs. A few are: Frangipani Princess, Live. Laugh. Love., *this daisy, Kissable 94. They are awesome.
One of my oldest friends, Ann, moved to Urunga (a hole) 2 days ago. So sad. I think I’m gunna cry. *sob*
I want a tattoo. Friends keep sayin’ that after I get 1, I wouldn’t want it no more. Well what I say to that is: When I turn 18, I’ll prove y’all wrong!
Dislocated my shoulder bone. Had to get needles. It all hurt. I’m turnin’ out to be such a klutz!
One of my besties is sick. Her twin sis told me she’s in hospital with a bad flu. Haven’t spoken or visited her yet. I hope it’s not the swine flu influenza. I really, really, really, hope she gets better. Very soon. xx Peppercorn Swirls

Heroes

Thursday marked the nite of the Heroes finale. But don’t grab that box of Kleenex yet – it’s just the final-ending-of volume 4. Ok, so I stayed up ‘till midnite to watch that ep, so I hope people’ll read this entry!
This is gonna sound all-over-the-place so bare with me.

Every time Hiro stops time, something drastic happens to him. I think the ep starts with him having a nose bleed, lol.
Claire’s dad drops her & Alice off, before being imprisoned by the government, or something like that.
Syler (if that’s how you spell his name) captures Nathan, then turns into Nathan (shapeshifts).
Claire comes over. Goes off with Nathan (who is really Syler in disguise).
That evil guy that used to work with Nathan gets thrown into an isolation cell with Claire’s father cuhz of something Syler did.
Hiro & his friend walk into the building. Hiro stops time. Hiro opens the cell door, then freed all the people with powers who were captured. They replaced them with all the guards and such. They start time again.
That evil guy tries to stab Claire’s father with a needle, but Hiro stops time, grabs the needle, starts time, stabs the evil guy. Hiro then collapses.
Claire’s father calls her, but Syler answers the phone as Claire, then turns into himself. They then realise that Claire is in danger.
Nathan and Peter go into Syler’s apartment to kill him.
Syler flies off with Nathan. He kills Nathan.
Then he gets stabbed with a needle by Peter who had shapeshifted into the US President.
Syler faints or something.
Only that guy who can read minds, Alice, and Claire’s father know that Nathan’s dead.
That guy who can read minds uses his power to force Syler to turn into Nathan and forget that he was ever Syler.
He wakes up as Nathan.
Some of the Heroes people gather to burn Nathan’s dead body, which looks like Syler.
The rest think Syler is really dead. But he isn’t. He just looks like Nathan and thinks he’s Nathan.
Preview of Volume 5:
Tracy or Nicky, or whoever she is now, comes back alive.
Nathan (Syler) remembers something about clocks. (He was formerly a clock maker before he turned evil.)

what is wicca

In Australia the religion “Wicca” doesn’t exist... um, sorta. I mean, there’re only a few people in Oz who follow that religion. But if you go to a country like America or England, you’d find that religion’s rather popular ov’r there. Ever seen the symbol of a star within a circle? The one people correspond with “evil”? If you’ve had, then that’s the emblem for Wicca. Wow: you just learnt something. Or not.
So before I get carried away with something else, the purpose of this blog post is to tell you ‘bout Wicca. If you click’d on the direct link to this post from Random Rawr’s blog, then you’ve arrived to the right place. I'm gonna tell you most of all the things I know ‘bout Wicca.

So... what is Wicca?

I can’t explain what Wicca is in my own words without getting a headache, so I copy+pasted this from Microsoft Encarta:
In the second half of the 20th century, a self-conscious revival of pre-Christian paganism occurred in the United States and Europe. The foundation of this revival was witchcraft, or Wicca (said to be an early Anglo-Saxon word for witchcraft). Wicca is interpreted simply as the nature and fertility religion of pre-Christian Europe, which has been explored in books such as Charles Leland’s Aradia: The Gospel of the Witches (1899), Margaret Murray’s The Witch-Cult in Western Europe (1921), and Robert Graves’s The White Goddess (1948). Although they are now considered unreliable by scholars, such books gave inspiration to some people seeking spiritual alternatives. The writings of Englishman Gerald Gardner, who in his book Witchcraft Today (1954) claimed that he was a witch initiated by a surviving coven, imparted much of the alleged lore and rituals of English witches. Although his claims have been questioned, covens of modern witches sprang up under Gardner’s inspiration and spread to the United States in the 1960s. This form of witchcraft—with its feeling for nature, its colourful rituals, and its challenge of conventional religion and society—harmonized well with the countercultural mood of the 1960s and grew rapidly during that decade.

Eoh or Ehwaz: the horse; means change of some kind.
Eolh or Eihwaz: for protection; very positive.
Feoh or Fehu: for wealth, prosperity, increase, success; things turning out well.
Geofu or Gebo: stands for gift or partnership; strengthening friendships or other relationships; the joining of the God & the Goddess.
Othel or Othala: for birthright, inheritance.
Peorth or Perthro: hidden things revealed.
Wyrd: (left blank) signifies something you oughtn’t know: dangerous or hurtful knowledge; a path you should not take; the undrawn one.
Yr: death; the ending of something & the beginning of something new; the importance of endings.

Other Wiccan things you might wanna know: (some may be random)

aett (aettir, plural) = runes that are broken up in 3 sections, or groups of eight
futhark = a common runic alphabet
sigil = a spelled rune
whiddershins = anticlockwise
deasil = clockwise
esbat = gathering where magic is done
muìrn beatha dàn = sole mate
Book Of Shadows = witch’s journal (where magick things are explained, their everyday life etc; to pass on to the next generation)
magesight = a power to see in the dark
scry = a spell done to see either the past, the present, or the future. Usually through water or fire or stones.

About the Seven Great Clans of Wicca:

Woodbane were considered evil.
Vikroth were warrior types. Were related to the Vikings.
Leapraughn were mischievous & humorous & sometimes pretty awful.
Wyndenkell were expert spell writers.
Burnhide specialised in gem, crystal, & metal magic.
Brightendale worked mostly with plants & were sort of doctors.
Rowanwand were ever good, ever peaceful. Known for being the repository of much magical knowledge.

Holla munchkin! I'm Peppercorn Swirls, unofficial promoter for certain blogs & stuff. My life revolves ‘round peppercorns and swirls (generally caramel swirls); try eating ‘em both at once. How delicious that’d be.
